Bikram Parajuli (Ph.D. student)

Bikram is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree with a specialization in spatial optimization. His areas of interest include spatial analysis, facility location, coverage problems, weather and climate, precipitation, and drought. He completed his Master’s degree in Cartography and Geographical Information Engineering in 2021 from The State Key Laboratory of Information Engineering in Surveying, Mapping, and Remote Sensing (LIESMARS) at Wuhan University, China. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Geomatics Engineering from the Institute of Engineering at Tribhuvan University, Nepal, in 2019.

Mohammad Shahriyar Parvez (Master student)

Mohammad Shahriyar Parvez is an MS student interested in the interplay of social and ecological characteristics and spatial optimization. His research interest resonance around adaptation strategies for combating climate change, including community-based adaptation to enrich community resilience and ensure participatory planning and facilitate environmental sustainability with proper natural resource management. He completed his bachelor’s degree from Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh, in 2019.
